Red Wolves Kick off
Park City Red Wolves SC, the local USL League II soccer team, is hosting a kickoff party at The Bridge Cafe and Grill in Park City from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, May 10. The event will be open to fans, where they can meet some of the team’s newly selected roster and coaching staff.
Adult Swim Clinics
Become a stronger swimmer with Basin Recreation’s adult swim clinics through May 30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. at The Fieldhouse. The clinics are open to anyone over the age of 15 interested in learning how to swim, improving stroke technique or becoming more efficient in the water. Cost is $80. Registration for Park City Summer Softball Leagues is open. Co-ed and men’s league teams will play on Monday through Thursday nights. New Rider Mountain Bike Clinic
Basin Recreation’s mountain bike clinic teaches participants to corner better around switchbacks, descend more safely, ride over obstacles and learn basic bike maintenance. Taught by IMBA certified coaches, the class will meet Tuesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trailside Bike Park and Round Valley. Participation cost is $40. Figure Skating Spring Show
The Figure Skating Club of Park City and the Park City Ice Arena Skating Academy are hosting their 11th annual Spring Show this Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Park City Ice Arena. This year’s theme is Road Trip. Skaters between the ages of 3 and 65 bring the audience on a road trip through music from West to East across the U.S. Admission is $12 cash at the door or $15 with a card. The Fieldhouse Summer Pass Sale
Basin Recreation is running its Summer Three-Month Pass Sale from May 6 to June 30, during which time three-month passes are 15 percent off. Only one three-month pass will be sold per person. College students qualify for youth pricing with a valid student ID. To take advantage of the offer, visit the Fieldhouse front desk and show your ID. Informational soccer meeting
The Park City Soccer Club is hosting an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, for players and their families interested in learning more about competitive club soccer. Spanish translation will be available. The meeting will be held in the “Community Room” on the third floor of the Park City Library on Park Avenue. The club will start hosting player placements for competitive soccer on May 20. Teams are open for players 6 to 18 years old.
