Epic Pass Sales End Nov. 22
Sunday, Nov. 22 is the last day to purchase an Epic Pass. The Epic Pass currently costs $809 and the Epic Local Pass costs $619. No passes will be sold after the deadline. To purchase a pass, visit http://www.epicpass.com . Park City Mountain opens for the winter season on Saturday, Nov. 21.
PC MARC November Spotlight Classes
The PC MARC is offering select free group fitness classes to get Parkites through the winter season. November’s free Spotlight Classes are Tone Circuit on Tuesdays at 6 a.m. and Tone & Sculpt on Thursdays at 6 a.m. Simply check in at the front desk to participate in a free class. Juniper Campground to Remain Open
Juniper Campground, located at Rockport State Park, will remain open all winter. The campground will be open with electric hookups only — the water and restroom will be closed. Campers with self-contained camp units can camp for $20 per night on a first-come, first-served basis. The roads and campground will be plowed all winter. Rockport State Park is located in Summit County off I-80 at the Wanship exit (Exit 155). For more information please call the park at 435-336-2241.

New Evening Childcare Hours at PC MARC
The PC MARC is now offering evening childcare hours so you can conveniently get your after-work fitness in. Fun and attentive childcare staff will keep children ages one to six entertained Mondays through Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. for just $4 per hour. Cardio Tennis Offerings at the PC MARC
Add an exciting new element to your workout by combining the cardio of tennis with the strength benefits of TRX. The PC MARC is offering both Cardio Tennis and Cardio TRX Tennis designed to improve fitness on and off the court. The high-energy, full-body workout is perfect, whether or not you are a tennis player! Classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Basin Recreation’s Wildcard Wednesday
Get together with other local card players at Basin Recreation’s Park Room, 5715 Trailside Dr., from 1 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday beginning Nov. 25 for some DECKreation. Play bridge, canasta, euchre, or any of the classics in a fun and social setting. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and games are free of charge.

New Year’s Day Special Classes
Planning on stepping up your fitness game in 2016? Kick off your New Year’s resolution goals with Basin Recreation on Friday, Jan. 1. There will be plenty of class offerings for every fitness level. The cost is $10 per class. No fitness punch-passes or monthly memberships will be accepted. Group Cycle Class runs from 9-10 a.m. in Studio B. PC MARC Child Care
The PC MARC makes working out convenient and affordable for parents. When thinking about that gym pass for the winter, consider the child care that is exclusively for patrons who are on site. Registration for late-Fall classes is currently open. Classes are on Mondays from 5:30-6:15 p.m. or Saturdays from 9:15-10 a.m. Class includes 30 minutes of class time, 15 minutes of practice time and a punch card for six public skate sessions with skate rental. Both options are six weeks long and cost $80. Classes began on Nov. 9. Students receive a punch card on their account with six admissions and skate rentals to public skate. Learn to Play Hockey
This class is for participants ages 5-12 years old who are able to skate forward, backward and stop comfortably in hockey skates. The class is 45 minutes. The price for Learn to Play Hockey is $93. Sessions will sell out so please register early. Students receive a punch card on their account with two Stick & Puck admissions and skate rentals. Basic Hockey Skating
This class is for participants ages four and up. Class includes a 30-minute lesson and 15 minutes of practice time. Students receive a punch card on their account with six admissions and skate rentals to public skate. The price for Basic Hockey Skating is $80. Equipment may also be available for $15. Please pay for equipment rental when you register for class. An equipment fitting must be scheduled at least seven days prior to the first day of class as we cannot guarantee availability of equipment in all sizes. PC Recreation’s youth karate program teaches children ages four and up life lessons that build self-esteem, confidence, respect and fitness. Intro to Ballroom Dance Class
Basin Recreation has partnered with Ballroom Utah Dance Studio to offer a six-week Intro to Ballroom Dance Class. Ballroom Utah’s professional instructors will introduce a different style of dance each week while progressing through the steps. Styles include the waltz, tango, cha-cha, swing, fox trot and salsa. Instruction will run Fridays until Dec. 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. at The Fieldhouse and Basin Rec will allow an additional hour of play/practice time once the instructor is finished. You do not need a partner to participate. Mother/son and father/daughter couples are more than welcome. Costs are $75 for individuals or $120 per couple. Register online at BasinRecreation.org . Cardio Tennis at the PC MARC
Cardio Tennis combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise to deliver a full-body aerobic workout. Taught by a tennis professional, Cardio Tennis is held on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the PC MARC. Players of all levels are welcome to enjoy this dynamic workout that uses the agility ladder, cardio stations, cardio balls and music. The class fee is $26. The PC MARC’s Adult Ballet classes, taught by Joanne Rupinskas, focus on traditional ballet technique while emphasizing correct posture and body alignment. Park City Speed Skating Club
Come join the Park City Speed Skating Club for the new season. PCSSC is a skill-building, fitness-oriented club with an emphasis on fun. Basic skating skills are necessary and all ages are welcome. Practices will take place on Monday evenings from 6:15 to 8 p.m. and are coached by four-time Olympian Catherine Raney-Norman. The first time is free so come take a lap with PCSSC. A Minor Spin Class

Pickleball at the PC MARC
