PCHS Girls’ Lacrosse Fall Ball
Fall Ball for the Park City High School girls’ lacrosse team begins on Sept. 14. Fall Ball is an excellent opportunity to polish your skills and work with your coaches and teammates. It is a lot of fun and it will help you stay sharp, improve your lacrosse IQ and stay fit. It is highly encouraged for anyone interested in playing on the Park City High School girls’ lacrosse teams. There will be six sessions: Mondays, Sept. 14, 21 and 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays, Oct. 4, 11 and 25, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The sessions will take place at Dozier Field. Miners Day Bowl Jam
The annual Miners Day Bowl Jam on Sept. 7 at Park City Skate Park welcomes skaters to participate in the Open Amateur division for a chance to win great prizes or compete in the Pro division for a purse prize. Cardio Tennis combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise to deliver a full-body aerobic workout. Taught by a tennis professional, Cardio Tennis is held Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the PC MARC. Players of all levels are welcome to enjoy this dynamic workout that uses the agility ladder, cardio stations, cardio balls and music. The class fee is $26. PC Tennis invites those interested in racket sports to discover pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the U.S.! Learn to Curl
The 2015-16 curling season is rapidly approaching and the ice is ready to go. On Sept. 14, the Park City Curling Club is kicking off the season with a Learn to Curl class open to the public. The PC MARC is offering a customized Dryland Training program for individuals seeking personal training in a high-energy, group setting. Park City Soccer Club 2015 Fall Academy
The Park City Soccer Club session one fall academy registration is open to players 7-10 years old. The academy is designed to complement the fall recreation soccer program, providing a curriculum that is based on fun, dynamic and age-appropriate training sessions to enhance players’ skills. Dog Obedience Classes at the PC MARC
Certified local dog trainer Heather Hampsten will teach Puppy, Basic and Intermediate obedience classes on Tuesday evenings, Aug. 25 to Oct. 6, at the PC MARC. The PC MARC’s Adult Ballet classes, taught by Joanne Rupinskas, focus on traditional ballet technique while emphasizing correct posture and body alignment. Youth Dirt Jump Camp
PC Recreation’s dirt jump instructors will help children excel in the sport of progressive mountain biking with clinics for all levels of riders held at the Park City Dirt Jump Park. Park City Speed Skating Club
Come join the Park City Speed Skating Club as we begin our new season. PCSSC is a skill-building, fitness-oriented club with an emphasis on fun! Zumba Glow Party
For all the Zumba fanatics, this is one of the best events out there. Zumba fitness under blacklight will be offered by Basin Recreation’s fitness instructors at The Fieldhouse on Friday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Wear white or neon so that you glow.

Rail Trail Closure
The Rail Trail is now closed under the bridge around mile post 153 between Promontory and Wanship. Due to construction in the Silver Creek area, it will remain closed throughout the summer and into the fall. Recreational users can still use most of the trail from Promontory or Wanship toward the bridge, but won’t be able to cross all the way through. The Utah Department of Transportation anticipates completing construction by mid-October, but that depends on weather conditions.
PC Recreation’s Adventure Camp allows kids ages 9 to 14 to take full advantage of our area’s outdoor recreation offerings, including rock climbing, sailing, river rafting, mountain biking and more.
