The Utah Utes are traveling to Waco, Texas this week, where they will take on the Baylor Bears Saturday in their second game of the year. Head Coach Kyle Wittingham and his squad will have to be cautious in not overlooking the Bears, who will be looking to bounce back from an abysmal home loss to Group of Five member Texas State. It will likely be a ‘battle of the backups’ at McLane Stadium, with Baylor backup Sawyer Robertson expected to start in place of the injured Blake Shapen and the same with Utah backups Bryson Barnes and Nate Johnson for Cam Rising.
