Winterfest Continues at The Park City Library

Park City Library’s Winterfest will continue Saturday, Feb. 10, with various activities, including a used book sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the library, 1255 Park Ave. Other Winterfest events — including the Special Olympics Utah‘s Polar Plunge at the PC MARC, 1200 Little Kate Rd., and Skate with a Princess at the Park City Ice Arena, 600 Gillmor Way — are scheduled throughout the city. ‘Dark Eyes’ book signing with author Nina Romano



Award-winning local author Nina Romano will sign her new book “Dark Eyes” at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, at Dolly’s Bookstore, 528 Main St. Admission is free. “Dark Eyes” is about Anya, an unwed mother of a neurologically challenged child, who meets Andrei, a police photographer, at a murder scene. Nature Trivia at Park City Brewing



Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter will host Nature Trivia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Park City Brewing, 1764 Uinta Way, #C1. Trivia and nature lovers can gather for one game with three rounds. There is a six-person maximum per team. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, and pre-registration is not available. For information, visit extension.usu.edu/swaner/calendar.

Westminster VITA Tax Clinic

IRS-certified volunteers in Westminster’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will offer free tax preparation, electronic filing, financial advocacy and stability services to low- to moderate-income individuals and families, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, members of military services and veterans, members of Native American tribes, and those with limited English proficiency. The 30-minute sessions will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays through the Summit County Library. For information and registration, visit thesummitcountylibrary.org/calendar.
