Park City seeking feedback on new recreation facilities designs
Park City is looking for feedback for its initial designs for renovations to recreation buildings.
In 2023, Park City Council allocated $6 million to renovate the Park City Municipal Athletic and Recreation Center (PC MARC) outdoor aquatic facilities and $15 million to rebuild the City Park Recreation Building. The Recreation department contracted with professional designers and architects to create concepts for each project.
That team is now seeking community feedback on these initial designs.
“Both the PC MARC Aquatic Facility renovations and the new City Park Recreation Building will be better facilities with guidance from residents and patrons,” a post on Engage Park City reads. “By engaging the community, we will create facilities that further our mission statement of enriching the lives in our community through exceptional people, programs, and facilities.”
Community members can submit their feedback and see photos on the designs here.
Mayor and Council in the Neighborhood
Additionally, on Wednesday, April 10, from 3-4:30 p.m. at PC MARC (1200 Little Kate Road), Mayor Nann Worel, Park City Council members Ryan Dickey and Ed Parigian and members from the PC MARC team will hold an in-person feedback session and meet and greet.
No formal presentation is scheduled for this event.
