Lora Lin Laing 1955 – 2024 Park City, UT-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lora Lin Laing. “Rockets”, as she was known to her friends, was a strong, vibrant, and wild soul who touched the lives of so many through her kindness, humor, and friendship. She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to those lucky enough to call her a friend and loved her sons and many grandchildren above all else. Lora will forever be remembered for her creativity, strength, and unwavering spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a wild spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her father Clyde Turner, and her brother Kim Turner. She is survived by her husband Jack Charbonneau. Her mother Ann Turner, and her brothers Kris Turner and Jay Turner. Her eldest son Jack Billings and his wife Jessica along with their five children Jack (21), Jordan (19), Charlotte (12), Cash (9) and Finn (7). Her son Rick Billings and his wife Brooke with their two children Dylan (16) and Max (11). Her youngest son Tommae Billings and his wife Jillian and finally, her Great-granddaughter Aleseana (1). She was considered family by many in the film industry, in which her compassion, creativity, and sense of humility burned to brightly. May her memory be a blessing, and her fire continue in our hearts and may she rest in peace. Her Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 22 2024 at the Utah Film Studios, Stage 2, 4001 Kearns Blvd, Park City Utah 84060, from 4pm-8pm.
